Denyse UWINEZA, an Alumni of Ignite The Youth , has recently been named among Africa’s Most Outstanding Emerging Women Leaders. She will represent the Republic of Rwanda as a MILEAD Fellow for 2015. Ignite The Youth International Society congratulates her on this remarkable achievement and wishes her all the best in the reputable fellowship program! This new MILEAD Fellows represent Africa’s most promising young women leaders with the courage and commitment to lead and shape the future of Africa. Many call her Athaliah Molokomme, I call her my role model. Dr Molokomme is the first Motswana to become an attorney general in Botswana. This is a very notable step as Botswana is still in that era where women are still trying to make a mark in most fields, therefore this lady is very much an inspiration to most women, especially me. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie By Acha Harrison Meet the smart, confident and fearless African Women Role Model:  Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie , whose pen is mightier than the sword. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian National.  She was born in 1977 and raised in Nsukka near the University of Nigeria. She is a novelist, nonfiction writer and short story writer. She has been called “the most prominent” of a “procession of critically acclaimed young Anglophone authors that is succeeding in attracting a new generation of readers to African literature. She happens to be the fifth child in a family of six children. Her father, James Nwoye Adichie, was a professor of statistics who later became the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria. Her mother, Ifeoma Adichie, became the first female registrar at the same University.
